of Bruce! MacIntosh's Book, Riddle Me This...
And Online Features

Beau Smith's Busted Knuckles:
"As most of you regular Knuckleheads know, I have a deep love for DC Comics characters. The more obscure the better. To me B'wana Beast and Tiger-Man should have their own monthly books. Through the years I've done my part to bring back other DC characters that time had forgotten, (Lady Blackhawk & Wildcat) and won't rest until I can bring back the real Vigilante and finally put Aquaman on the level he deserves.
Anyway, Bruce MacIntosh has written for the fine folks at TwoMorrows Publishing, many comic book websites and is a insider expert on the DC Universe. Bruce was also an actor in the movie Clerks II. Recently I met up with Bruce at Pittsburgh Comic Con and he laid on me an advance reading copy of his latest work-in-progress called Riddle Me This: The Unofficial Compendium Of The DC Universe B-List Characters. It's over 375 pages of great info on all the characters in the DCU that you may or may not know of and remember. I've been reading it and I would love to see it published and out there for you to read as well.
The book covers so much of the characters that we all love at DC and it also gives lifetime readers like me some new info and slants that never made it on to my radar. The research and facts are all there and you're richer for reading them. This is a textbook of comic book history. I'd really like to see Bruce find a publisher for this and soon so everyone can enjoy it. Please check out Bruce's site and let him know that you're interested in seeing it in print as well."

Raging Bullets Podcast - Episode 120
Here's what host Sean Whelan said:
I want to give a shoutout to Bruce MacIntosh, who sent me his great collection of articles from the Pulse – which is www.comicon.com/pulse. He did a series of articles focusing on B-List Characters from the DC Universe. All of which can still be found on his ComicSpace page.
I am a background info fanatic, and he really did his homework on everyone, from Animal Man to Zatanna, including universes – such as the Tangent Universe. It’s really like his own Who’s Who of B-List characters and universes, that ties into things like Countdown.
I’m not doing this intensive and well-written endeavor justice at all right now... He’s currently doing work at the Pulse on a series of Secret Invasion-related articles, which are just as depth-filled… The articles are incredible, and they show a real passion for comics and a passion for background research on characters. Definitely check those out – it’s free to go to his Comicspace page and take a look at what he’s doing. So I definitely encourage you to do that.

Geek Brunch - Episode 52
Mike Myers (of Rocky Mountain Comic Book Noise fame) Comments on My Book, Riddle Me This:
[Heroes Con] was pretty cool for me, because that’s where I met BruceInColorado. That was a pretty good experience, because he gave me that book of his that he is writing, which is “Riddle Me This…”. He did all the research for you for all the characters that appear in Countdown, and it’s like a history of everybody from beginning to end.
He actually researched these characters, he went and bought all the comics: All the Animal Man, Strange Adventures. He worked his way through the [Grant] Morrison Animal Man, to the other stuff.
It’s just a fantastic book. He really needs to publish it.
He gave me a copy, and that was awesome.
Scott, half of the Comic Book Outsiders Podcast: That sounds so cool.
Heath Holland: I know I want to read it.
Mike: It is so sweet. He writes for the Pulse, it’s sort of a blog and you can read it. And, he’s doing the same thing right now for Secret Invasion. He had a special thing for Mockingbird. So if you wanted to read about Mockingbird, you could read his post and find out everything about her.
Heath: That’s awesome.
Mike: Yeah, it is. And he’s in Colorado! So, I’m going to hopefully hook up with him soon. His name is Bruce MacIntosh.
